Candy Lily

So you guys remember this grey army RX-K? Once in a while we made offensive jokes to the owner and after a few months of pestering, he finally made it happened!

I've got to apologise to the gang for coming in like 5 hours late. I was dead tired from the night before. This means that I missed the morning part of the event, the breakfast, stripping, sanding and stuffs.

Story be told, they finally decided to buy the paint remover which was like a saviour! At first, we didn't trust it at all because it was all China made and had no English instructions. But then again its totally worth it when they put it to use.

This time round we wanted to do everything in proper that we even use primers. It was our first time using it and we learn a lot from it.

After using primers, they handed the spray can over to the owner to start on the colouring process!

And this is the base coat! Color: Lily. A typical color in malay houses we all think. haha!

So there was a lot of waiting and careful planning along the process. Lots of freinds went home and a few came too. Nonetheless, everyone contributed in each of their own ways.

And the stripes were made with precision and careful layering. Its Candy Red if I'm not wrong. And this is the part where everyone was kept excited.

Some accidents happened and we had to correct it. Pretty frustrating because imagine, you tried your best spending hours making it perfect and its not. But our frustrations lifted off whennn...

...we saw this beautiful tasty treat for the eyes!

Of course not everything is perfect so we had to touch up. It was really getting late and we are running out of clear coat so we had to hurry.

Some guys trying to find the "fun" in planking. Not too sure if they found it.

VIOLA!

Yet another tiring day but worth the time spent. Majority had school the next day so we had to pack up real quick. BUT! A police car came in and as usual they just had to take out particulars. The malay guy with the lower rank was good but the high ranking chinese officer was like @#$%. We are really shagged that we could snap any time. Lucky we kept to our senses and cause no trouble (in our eyes).

Getting back to x859x, we noticed some more glitches and missing parts. I'ld blame the police for chasing us out. Things like these are always their fault. People just can't wait for a bit cant they? I pity Faiz cos he's stayed out the longest, 930am to 11pm. And ending the day job with cold treatment from an officer just doesn't cut it.

Stay tuned for another episode of a day in life with Sahlan! Chao!

Backspaced. Cut it short, these old feelings are still inside of me. I can't help it. I get nervous when I know that she is in the vicinity. She made me smile without even putting in effort. When she smile I melt inside. I like her hair. I like her personality. But I'm shy. I'm afraid things go the other way around. And I can't find chances. I still hope for time being spent with her. I'm uncertain about when we would bump into each other again.

I don't really exposed these things about myself but I really need to let it flow out a little.

graduation ceremony

After three years in school, filled with more fun and play rather than serious achievements in high grades, it has finally come to this. My graduation!

So I had to wake up early in the morning which was against my current body clock. A quick pic with my sister because she have got school shortly after our parents and I leave the house. Now, how shall I put this? I had no pictures in between so I'll get straight to the event location.

The row that I was in inside the theatre was fun. The guys around me were almost all playful. We made a lot of noise and laugh a lot which to me was completely ideal because the event, plainly, would be very boring. Then, in the middle of the presentation, when I stopped laughing to take a breath I noticed that I had a relative in the same school! And in the same batch too! I mean, THREE YEARS and I didn't notice her not even once in school?!? WHUDDDD?

A few quick snapshots and off to find food. And oh I made some new friends as well on that day! But basically I'ld like to stick around with the usual guys. Its a whole lot easier for things like seriously.

Had our quick food and more photo taking.

Some candid. (there's more to come I THINK. don't worry)

I still remember after a few weeks into school then I realised that Steph was in the same class as me! Yes only after a few weeks not days HAHA. We were classmates during secondary school.

Dan!(far left) The only time I really made friend with him was during the China Overseas Intern ship. Joey(centre) was his room mate that time. Ah memories.

Not forgetting typical jump shots!

I was suprised to see Ayie having his grad the same day as mine! Didn't know Syahrul know him too!

Not forgetting RP Hunk, Awallul. He's working for the sound company for the whole event. Cool eh!

So basically once my parent headed home, one by one, my friends begin to go home as well. That was the part where I began walking all over the place meeting random friends. Have short chats and all. I was nice catching up, especially with those whom I rarely had the chance to speak to. :) Met Amzar and Asyraf and they wanted to take pics with Syahrul. Along the way we met some other guys and they join in too! See how hearty we are!

Asyraf and Amzar wanted to skate so once I settled Hakim's robe and meeting Lam and there no one around that I know of, I headed straight home. Called Zi and Fiq to skate in sp with them. Of course another reason was to take a picture with the SMA boys! From center, Jun Tian, Hakim, Alfian. It was fun hanging around with them for the three years! Ah again, memories!

So basically that sums up my day in a rather brief manner. A lot of good things happened today. I got my mood a little off in the midst of it but I guess it is normal. Now I need to get some sleep and prep myself for Faiz's RX-K.

Hey look what I've found!

This was back then when modules weren't much of a hassle and a group of us were into diy products. Too bad we kind of did nothing.

One of my favourite band released their new album on February earlier this year and I fell in love with this song. Maybe it has got this indie feel to it or something.

My proposal for the crew. Got to work on it though.

This blog has gone through alot since the day I opened it up. Some posts were explicit, some were gay. Next week is my grad week, rxk, bbq, rtt, match and wedding prep week. Two more weekends mates.

JW81 - WDLND WTRFRNT

So, if you remember my post, I said that I would like to organise a cycling event. Thank god it really did happened. On the Friday the 13 this month, a group of us managed to convince quite a lot of the Jacks to join in. Sadly though, two or three of us were unable to join in. The route: Jurong West Street 81 Blk 859 to Woodlands Waterfront.

The plan was to go via Jurong Townhall - Bukit Batok - CCK - Woodlands. After some discussions and spending some time at RC park which we usually do, I took out my camera.

I began shooting some individual photos because everyone were yearning for new display pictures.

Because you know, the majority of us are the type of people who prefer to get involve rather than to sit aside and take pictures.

And basically I deploy myself to shoot because there were also some were new bikes!

It didn't came to mind that I should take some photos with my kits on. I really looked like a tourer that night!

By the time we are ready to set off, there were six fixed gears, one cruiser and seven BMXs. Alek came later that night with his mountain bike, making the total strength of 15 cyclists for the trip!

Its was a slow trip because to be honest, we can't really go far on BMX without stops in between.

Road conditions however were favourable. Well except for some parts whereby there were constructions, fast moving vehicles, uphill and pot hole. Aside from that, it has this kind of a "safe" vibe to it.

By the time we reached Woodlands, we were really dehydrated and tired. Especially the BMX boys.

It was 3am plus in the morning. Long distance plus work/school earlier in the day is the cause to their fatigue.

We moved off from the 7Eleven and headed to our intended destination. This is the part that really light my spirit back up again! The furthest the majority of us has cycled!

As you know, I've got a task for the night so my rest was kind of snappy. I need to rush and finish off the shoot objectives and chase for time. Timings are important because we need to avoid the morning traffic. For our route, it is heavy in the morning you know.

I go on and figured out shooting spots etcetera while some of them catch a quick nap or something.

In the middle of the individual shoot I began to feel cranky. I needed rest but I can't afford to. Nonetheless, I managed to control my emotions and mouth and get on with everything smoothly.

From left: Khainam, Ifix, Arai, Syafiq, Kamil and Haikool. These are the guys on BMX. A huge respect for them for making it. But wait, there's one missing.

Faris! He forgot about his bike before taking the photo. I was overcome by mixed feelings to notice anything wrong. And when I got home, there weren't any photos of the "big boys". So I'm just gonna post individuals below.

Me.

Zul.

Areen.

Akmal.

Fauzi.

At the end of the day, everything went smoothly. Everyone had their fun and workout. Khainam headed to his cousin's crib cos he got some wedding work later. A number of us had work actually.

On the way back Areen and I collided on the road because we were too focused on looking out for others. Areen got his wrist fractured, several bruises and tear on the skin. I suffered from bruises and tear on the skin. Going back was faster because everyone focused on getting home and there were less stops.

Along the way, Lam and I volunteered to be the last man. I was the one who organised this so I had to make sure everyone reached home safely. There are a lot of experienced cyclists upfront so I need not worry about that.

It was a great experience. A great work out. A great adventure. Next event, Faiz RXK. Next week's gonna be busy! Until next time! Once again, sorry for the belated post.
