We were at our usual place, PPM (due to being chased out from
RC), the usual night whatnots. Around close to midnight, on our way home, we called up Faris because we saw Haikool entering his carpark but never did came out. It turns out, they were cleaning up their motorbikes. I had always wanted to take photos of their bike but never had a chance. So I rushed home to fetch my camera.
Faris found an alternative to putting up chrome parts on his bike. Instead of buying the engine cover, why not sand off the coating? He has been doing that one round part there since 9pm earlier. Kindda tedious if you ask me. I decided to help him out since we are catching soccer at Fico's coffeshop later around 4am.
That is not the only highlight of the night. Another target to achieve was to clean up Haikool's RX-Z. The bike is not in the best condition I must say but its still pretty good. Even I, as a pillion driver felt comfy on this bike. The only thing is that its loud and sharp, not much of my liking.
And there's also a lot of little spots to be taken note of. Both of them wanted to change their cover set real soon and I cant wait for the new look! Hopefully by then I've improved my photogs skills and find a nice backdrop.
The first thing I wanted to do after Faris finishes off his engine was to polish the whole thing. I have somehow build the interest in polishing ever since my NCC shoes turns out fabulously sparkling. There it is, his new chrome footrest, suspension and wheels. I wanna keep his planned looks to myself first because I dont wanna spoil it to you guys.
They told me one way to compare the older versions and the newer version is by looking at the side cover set and and front side signal lights. Above picture is the older one with its all in separated kits.
While this one has everything combined into one.
Like the saying goes, boys will be boys. I'm not sure it that even fits in this scenario. hahaha. But I just love looking in mechanisms and engines and wonder how it is able to work so smoothly. Furthermore, I just cant resist customisation. There are endless possibilities if I were to start my interest in mods.
See the round thing with the Yamaha logo. That was the part that we sand. The before was pretty much alike with the right hand side of the area.

Haikool had the luxury of a stool while we all are either squatting or sitting on the underside of the pails.
Surely, there are other people involved in this. The rest were meant to help out with Haikool's bike. To wash it and then polish. But nehhh they were tired and lazy and stopped halfway.
And you'll definitely feel hungry, what more when you are planning to catch a soccer match later on.
As soon as the basics are done (some part we decided to leave it for "phase 2"), we were ready to set to Fico. Faris went home for a while to fetch me his helmet for me (btw thank you bro (: ), others went to take a cab first, and Faiz on the way to this carpark.
I think a better comparison could be made only if the used the same type of stand. haha I don't know if its true but.. yeah.
Somehow, I kindda like this particular angle. In still learning on how to take automotive photos. Maybe that will be my homework for tomorrow. hmm.
I just love the clean look. I trust Faris in making things look better!

Faris reached the washing bay with the helmet and we are off! Majority of the people there are foreign workers if you would ask me. Had our Mee Goreng there too. Pretty weird Mee Goreng cos theres alot of carbon if your know what I mean and he used some rojak ingredients. Very interesting experience indeed.
And I finally got to seize the chance to a photo take of my favourite bike, RX-K. This belongs to Faiz. He intended to repaint it. I was thinking of editing on Photoshop to give him a preview but I've been onto other stuffs lately.
There's this particular vibe that the bike is giving me. Awesome!
So that how I spent my time that night. It was well spent for me to be honest. Doing something that is actually productive and you can see your effort paying off. After that, chillax. And not forgetting the morning ride! It's incredible mannnn.
Few days before, Sunday my dad's tank was leaking due to rust. I was kindda sad cos he NEEDS to use that bike for work, to the market and such. So this week, I've been doing a lot on bikes and my new phone! I'm not gonna blog about the phone because I've had enough of technical IT stuffs. I've learn alot, and there's more to come. I will be updating again after the weekends.
