This update is belated because I'm packed with so many stuffs to do, look and waste time on. So week 4,lemme see... I seem to forget alot of thing but you know..
We checked out the arcade on the 2nd floor of our hotel. Played pool and check out the arcade games. Not much games. And the pool space really choked us with cigarette smoke ( but still not as bad as the recording studio in sg i've been to). And there is alot of those gambling machines which we don't understand how the hell they play it.
Then tuesday we went to this street where there is a lot of camera shops after work. One camera shop after the other. Since we went after work, we are not able to check out alot of shops because they all close very early. We walked around came eventually came back to the town area. (The one i called "bugis + orchard") Its called 27th street. And we walked a lot yes.
Our manager brought us out for lunch on Thursday and man IT WAS NICE! I've come to realise that the first two weeks we were brought to places whereby the food sucks. The portions here are alot, like one plate can fill 2 person up to the brim. At night we played PES10 on my laptop because afew days ago, Adha and I bought ps usb controller. Meaning.. Its a night full of 4v4. Sleep at 3am plus because we were enjoying too much and lost track of time andddd the next day no work! You know why? Because we told our caretaker that in SG we had Good Friday. And he simply gave us off y(btw its not supposed to be a day off here).
Friday, went out to 27 again. Walk2, ate pizza hut(awesome), and explore the city again. Bought some items for our friends/families, checked out the softcore porn they sell there, and record some EPIC FAIL videos. Sat morning we had breakfast with Yuanlin(caretaker), Karen (caretaker) and beijing professor. Ate at a very big halal restaurant, and for the first time i think, we finished all the dishes clean because ts way way better than the food we've ate with Yuanlin before. After so, we went back to our hotel to relax and stuff. We then decided to go to the zoo! The panda house was an epic fail. The circus show is ok. Ok the rest was ok, considering the fact that I havent been to a zoo for a very long time. And for some of the animal, you have to pay extra to get in. Including the panda, which is still an Epic fail. The rest of the animals, we dont care much to get in because we could find them in SG. After that, went to the nearby shopping center to walked around. We walked out of there at night happily with PAPAROTI in our hand.
Sunday went out, AGAIN! But this time, with a girl we met at the China Mobile museum. Look at those grade A cheapos. (An LV grade A which cost starting from around 70 onwards.) After lucnh, we decided to go to KTV, which is super damm cheap! 19SGD for 1 room for 5hours HAHAHA. Linkin Park is the best IMO. Then had dinner. This "steamboat" which they dont give us the steamboat but instead put the ingredients on a stick and put it into this "sesame" sauce.
And guess what, the next day, OFF! Because its a China Public Holiday. Previous week we got a 3 days weekend. Then this, 4 days weekend. AWESOME INNIT! The trees are starting to bloom. The number of pretty girl are getting more and more. On another note, I noticed that being here, I ate more icecream (particularly Magnum icecream) , took more cabs, ate more Pizzahut, shop more things compared to when I am at SG.
